Help Everyone in Roanoke Valley Thrive
Your donation helps more people thrive. Thank you for making our community stronger!
Celebrate the Season, Assist Neighbors in Need and Build a Better Community
Fashions for Evergreens is free and open to the public from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day!
Live United for our Community!
Each year, The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center decks the halls and showcases Christmas trees designed and decorated by local organizations. This year, more than 25 organizations and businesses will compete for the coveted People's Choice award through voting following a self-guided tour.
Thousands of guests from near and far take a self-guided tour through the beautifully decorated hotel and vote monetarily for their favorite trees, with proceeds benefiting United Way of Roanoke Valley. Through this competition, the community has raised over $65,000 with their votes to help Roanoke families who are struggling to achieve financial stability!
"Fashions for Evergreens is a timeless holiday tradition. It's especially relevant this year as families and our entire community work to stay connected and help each other through tough times. While visitors may only be donating a penny to a dollar when they vote for their favorite tree, by pitching in together the event helps us extend a hand to many families throughout the Roanoke Valley who are struggling to keep a roof over their head and food on the table." - Abby Hamilton, President & CEO of United Way of Roanoke Valley
